ABA Supervisors and Consultants

We are particularly interested to hear from anyone who is based near Milton Keynes and Northampton.

Job description: 

An ABA Supervisor at acornABA is expected to;

• Work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the ABA Consultant. 
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as provided by acornABA Ltd. 
• Complete functional assessments of challenging and undesirable behaviours. This will include direct and indirect assessments using evidence-based tools provided by acornABA Ltd. 
• Develop, implement and evaluate behaviour plans, using the practices and principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis to increase functionally equivalent behaviours and proactively reduce challenging incidents 
• Complete on going analysis of incidents to identify maintaining variables for challenging or undesirable behaviour. 
• Provide feedback to tutors working on designated programmes using acornABA’s fidelity checklists and other related documentation 
• Provide training to ABA tutors/ teaching assistants/ teachers/ parents, formally and informally. 
• Support in the initial skills assessment conducted by ABA Consultant, and to maintain updated assessments when requested 
• Implement socially significant, academically appropriate and meaningful programmes to address skill acquisition and behaviour reduction in collaboration with ABA Consultant 
• Host workshops at the clients home/school/nursery at a frequency mutually agreed by ABA Consultant and Client 
• Attend workshops hosted bi-monthly by ABA Consultant and provide documentation of progress in format agreed between you and ABA Consultant 
• Contribute to annual review using format provided by ABA Consultant 
• Attend annual review if requested by ABA Consultant and Client 
• Maintain good organisation of ABA documentation provided by acornABA Ltd. 
• Ensure all resources for ABA targets are of a high standard and kept up to date, ensuring that responsibility for production is given to relevant party (e.g. family, tutors, school etc) 
• Collaborate with ABA consultant in regard to data collection and graphical displays of data
